Northwest Press Goes to Comic-Con!

Comic-Con in San Diego is just days away, and we’re thrilled to have a big presence at the show this year.

Northwest Press will be a major partner with Prism Comics on the convention floor, and will have talents available during the entire show to sign, sketch and visit with con-goers. Guests include Jon Macy (Teleny and Camille), Justin Hall (Glamazonia: The Uncanny Super-Tranny), Charles “Zan” Christensen (The Power Within, The Mark of Aeacus), Leia Weathington (The Legend of Bold Riley), and Dylan Edwards (the forthcoming Transposes).

In addition, Northwest will be the focus of a convention panel for the first time, with Chance Whitmire of Fanboys of the Universe moderating a discussion about how we got started and how to make it in publishing at a time when print seems on its way out and comic shops are becoming an endangered species. We’re happy to have the opportunity to check in on our second anniversary in publishing and let everyone know how we’re doing!

If you want to follow all the Northwest Press goodness, I highly recommend checking out The Gay Agenda from Prism Comics, which has not only the Northwest Press panel and signing schedules, but more LGBT comics goings-on than you can imagine, both on the convention floor and out in the city after hours. Panels, parties, readings, signings, you name it!

See you in San Diego!
