INQ returns with its first episode since summer of 2016—anything happen while I was gone?—and dives back in with an episode focused on action and adventure comics in the LGBTQ space. In the comics world, a lot of the independently-produced comics with queer themes are down-to-earth, slice-of-life-y tales, but there are some people out there who think more in terms of big budget blockbusters. I sat down with a glass of red wine and chatted with Fernando Velez, the creator of Class 6, about his sprawling action comic populated with characters from across the LGBTQ spectrum, what inspired him, and where he hopes to take the project.
The latest print installment of Class 6 is being crowdfunded now, with just a few days to go. You can find out more about the project on its Kickstarter page.
Thanks to Fernando for taking the time to sit down and chat about the project (and for the wine!) Thanks to Alive Way for the new INQ opening and closing theme.
